DiamondView UV Imaging

Deep UV imaging for diamond growth structure, HPHT clues, and lab-grown screening

Typical price$ 15000 - 90000
PortabilityLow portability
Field noteSpecialized diamond lab instrument

How to use it

  1. Clean the diamond thoroughly before imaging
  2. Place the stone in the imaging chamber according to the instrument safety procedure
  3. Capture deep UV fluorescence and phosphorescence images from several orientations
  4. Observe growth sectors, strain patterns, color zoning, and phosphorescence behavior
  5. Compare patterns with known natural, HPHT-grown, CVD-grown, and treated diamond references
  6. Use spectroscopy to confirm any important conclusion
