How to use it

  1. Point toward a bright white light source (daylight or LED)
  2. Hold the stone flat against the lens opening
  3. Look through the eyepiece, two color windows appear side by side
  4. Note the colors in both windows
  5. Rotate the stone 90° and observe whether the colors change
  6. Repeat from two more stone orientations
  7. Record all colors observed across all orientations
